OK the first people to live here will be here on the 29th of this month. I have drywall and we are wired. I hope to get it painted and have the electric done before they get here. Thanks to Charly, Mike, Chris,Kevin, Magie and all the people who have helped me here. And Ho for the great color advice. Soon I will rest and stop stressing out.

gone gone gone I been gone to long

OK I have not updated here in a long time but what a couple weeks. I have gas yes I said it and I am not ashamed. I cooked my first meal on the stovetop last night. and downstairs. there is a new furnace,hot water system and new gas lines . I have passed rough plumbing, electric and framing. the insulation is in the walls and the drywall has been ordered and will be here friday. WOW. It is getting hard to take pictures as it is crowded downstairs. I will try to be here more often. Thanks everyone for all the help and great advice. Ken

Update and a driveway

Here is the new drive and a wall I built out of rocks that were dug up here. Lots of rocks so there will be more walls and gardens. I transplanted tons of bushes and all and all the electric will be done monday. have had rough plumbing inspection done. so now the gas furnace will be here next week and then framing inspection and finally drywall and paint. Thank God or someone like god (whatever)

ok that was a long time with no post I have found my camera and will get some new pictures up soon. I will also be starting a new blog about my new adventure with the seashore and some fantastic houses in there woods. take care everyone.

Tree Killer!!!

Yes I have the window in and then i seem to have built a wall and um cut down some tree's and , um well I have ruined my yard. it is pure mud and wood. today it is raining and I cant be outside to even start cleaning up this mess. I hope there will be more to tell soon.

Oh what a night

Party ends @ 2 /work starts @ 3 and through the storm and into the night. John and his nephew started cutting in the window when the sky broke open and the night came. wow what fun , real big saw's and tons of mud. but this morning I took pictures and it looks great. Mike also re graded the side yard and the driveway is changing into a horseshoe shape. man I need landscaping. more to do today. camera is charged and not frozen so it may work better today.

What a week. I have forced myself to get this counter done. I am happy with the outcome but the dust level in the house is a bit much, I had to cover everything with sheets and will still be dusting for the rest of my life. but I cant wait for the party on saturday.

overwhelmed/ break

OK. today I started to freak out as I want to be done but need to wait for the plumber, gas, electrician. etc... I want the room's rented now!!I took two days off, I will focus more tomorrow. I wish it was summer

owl update

Just so everyone knows the owl was taken to wild care and re-hydrated with electrolites and released in the same place that night. wildcare is great!!! a donation was made to them by the property owner. I have the best clients!!!

moving right along

Ok here is appliance number 2 a new BOSH cook top. I cant wait till it gets hooked up so I built a new island in the kitchen and it turns out that is just what the kitchen needed, now I have counter space.
Also I hooked up the WESO wood stove and just fired it. the basement is now warm enough to work in so I have built more walls. almost done with that and then comes the plumber and electrician. weeeee !!!

So I had Galileo Bonfini come to look at a client chimney to see what was up and when he opened the flu there were eyes and horns. turned out to be one real cute Owl..... Now what do I do?

Ok my first month is down and I have gotten rather well along.The wood stove is in so I can heat the house and not have to sell my soul. and have a somewhat livable living room. there are many 2x4's in the basement and they sort of look like walls. more to do next month so stay tuned.

its to hot baby

I need to finish fixing my heat. this house leaks. I cant wait to hook up the wood stoves and convert to scientology ( oops I mean natural gas ). My tank is empty again and Snows was supposed to fill it yesterday. at $320 a month I hope it will get mild again soon. I wish I was in Florida? ouch that hurt to say. I guess I am happy here, (Florida kind of sucks).
