january gone

Ok my first month is down and I have gotten rather well along. The wood stove is in so I can heat the house and not have to sell my soul. and have a somewhat livable living room. there are many 2x4's in the basement and they sort of look like walls. more to do next month so stay tuned.

I need to finish fixing my heat. this house leaks. I cant wait to hook up the wood stoves and convert to scientology ( oops I mean natural gas ). My tank is empty again and Snows was supposed to fill it yesterday. at $320 a month I hope it will get mild again soon. I wish I was in Florida? ouch that hurt to say. I guess I am happy here, (Florida kind of sucks).

chim chim charoo

Yes I do sing this all day long as I am slowly loosing my mind. There is cement dust in everything. It is hardening in my lungs. But It Looks GReaT. Thanks to Bonfinni masonry for the chimney and Tom Fettig for help with the stone and tile work.

she's a brick

well she was a brick. Now she's a pile of rubble. Turns out the flue was not even attached to the fireplace so down comes the brick work. BUT Gallileo Bonfini has almost finished the chimney and much has been done down stairs. Mike and Tom helped rip out the heat and half is put back so I am warm in the living room and in the WC. Weather has been good to me. but big rain is commin.
